This infection, caused by the yeast Candida albicans, is most common among women, but can affect men as well. It can occur in the mouth and throat, on the skin at any point of the body and genitals. If it is transmitted sexually, it causes itching, burning and a characteristic white tumor on the penis. The disease is treated with antifungal creams such as "Canesten". Symptoms in men are usually mild, but the disease must be treated so that the infection does not spread further.

It is a venereal disease caused by the protozoa Trichomonas vaginalis. Usually, but not always, it is sexually transmitted and is most common in the age group of 16-35 years. Symptoms appear within a month after the initial infection. However, in men, symptoms rarely appear, although there may be a slight clear discharge or itching after urination. Men, however, should be treated to prevent further spread of the infection.

Invasions are transmitted sexually or sometimes through other close physical contact and are not too common. Scabies is caused by a tiny mite that dwells primarily on or around the genitals. A female tick plunges under the skin, where it lays eggs.Symptoms — pruritic swelling and marks — become noticeable after a 4-6 week incubation period. In addition to the genitals, they can appear between the fingers, on the buttocks, wrists and under the arms. Itching is worse in the warmth (for example, in bed). Pubic lice are genital varieties of lice that can appear on other hairy parts of the body. They feed on blood and cause itching, which can be very strong. Treatment in all cases is the treatment of the whole body with special chemicals.

The following signs of venereal diseases (or nonspecific urethritis) are possible:

  1. an abscess, an ulcer or a rash on or around the genitals, anus or mouth;
  2. unusual discharge from the penis or vagina;
  3. pain or burning when urinating;
  4. increased urinary frequency;
  5. swelling of glands in the groin;
  6. itching or soreness of the penis, anus or vagina.

All these symptoms usually have other causes than venereal disease. But, without delay, get expert advice from a doctor. The disappearance of symptoms does not mean the disappearance of the disease. This can only mean that the disease naturally passed into the next stage. You can still remain infected and able to transmit the infection to others.
