How to write a review for the abstract
Check outAbstractom thesis. Immediately note the advantages and disadvantages of the work. Even if you are going to write a negative review, the criticism must be constructive and demonstrative.
Make a headline. The word "Feedback»Center the page at the top. Next write: “onAbstracttheses ... ". In the next line specify the surname, name and patronymic of the applicant. Press Enter. Specify the dissertation topic. Press Enter again. Write: "for the degree ...". In the last line of the title, specify the specialty. After that, choose in the Word menu in the "Paragraph" tab the item "Align with the left edge" or "Align with the width". Pull back 2 lines from the title and start writing a review. Standard size - from 0.5 to 2 A4 pages (Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1 spaced).
Assess the degree of importance of the study for solving modern scientific, practical and methodological problems.Determine whether the topic chosen by the applicant will be of interest to specialists and non-specialists. Write, causes or does not cause doubts the relevance of the stated problem.
Determine what the scientific novelty of the work in relation to similar works in this area. Evaluate the method proposed by the author for addressing the problem. Write about how logical it is. Specify how the applicant used already known methods to obtain the results of the study.
Assess the completeness and accuracy of the materials collected during scientific experiments. Write about how the theoretical concepts considered by the author in the literature review and in the research part were applied by him in practice. Give examples of how it uses traditional and innovative methods. Indicate whether or not the data obtained by the applicant correspond to the existing provisions of the fundamental and practical disciplines.
Write about the merits of work. Assess the significance for science and practice of the results of research, experimental and methodological base.Determine the level of professionalism of the applicant. If the author introduces some concepts and formulations, indicate how correctly he does it. Separately evaluate the structure and visibility of the work.
Write about the shortcomings of work. These may include: - incompleteness of the research; - incompleteness of the evidence; - incorrect formulations and definitions; - ignoring traditional and recent research in this area; - structural deficiencies, etc.
Indicate whether the comments you have cited reflect the scientific value of research and work in general. If they are only advisory in nature, write about it. It is possible that the author will try to take them into account when preparing the report submitted for protection.
Formulate conclusions. Indicate: - whether the work is an independent and valuable scientific work; - whetherAbstracte all the stages of the research; - whether there is enough work in the work to substantiate the hypothesis put forward; - whether the necessary explanations are present (including graphs, tables, figures);Abstracte results of research that can be qualified as sound scientific, practical and methodological development; - whether the dissertation meets all the requirements of the Regulations on the procedure for awarding scientific degrees accepted by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science;
Indicate your name, surname and patronymic, academic degree and title, place of work. Print a review in 2 copies.
