Named the worst films of 2017
Rolling Stone magazine decided to take a look at the results of the movie with a critical look: it made a list of the worst films of 2017. Got it all: the film “Fifty shades darker” by James Fowley, and the “Dark Tower” based on Stephen King’s novel, and “The Mummies” by Alex Kurtzman, and “Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets” by Luc Besson, and the last “Transformers”. Choosing the worst films, the editors did not skimp on the “compliments”: Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan’s on-screen feelings were called sadistically sad, and Kate Winslet and Idris Elba (“Mountains between us”) were as icy as the landscapes around. “The Dark Tower” was called the manual for useless screen versions of literary works, and “Mumiyu” - an example of how to spoil a movie career (with reference to Tom Cruise). The list was headed by “Transformers: The Last Knight” by Michael Bay, and this, according to the editors, is so flat a movie as if it was being shot by robots.
