Fashion Designer Sir Paul Smith Talks Land Rover Defender
If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you drive your Land Rover through a Pantone shop, wonder no more. Land Rover’s design team have enlisted the help of Fashion Designer Paul Smith to create their latest special edition Defender – with 27 different exterior panel colours. Satin accents can be found on the vehicle’s door handles, mirrors and wheels whilst the interior gets leather and fabric seats with contrast stitching. The coolest feature is the leather-wrapped dash with Paul Smith insignia.
The roof also features an illustration of a bee which is said to pay tribute to the countryside heritage of the Land Rover name. We’re not holding our breath for a Beagle version.
