Simple High Voltage Converter
A very simple 50 kV converter, which essentially consists of three elements. All components are available and, if desired, easy to find. A high-voltage converter can be used for various experiments with high electricity, such as an ionizer, an insulation integrity tester, etc. What you need: - The horizontal transformer from any TVs with a kinescope. - Field-effect transistor IRFZ44 - aliexpress.com- 150 ohm resistor (1/2 W).Connecting a transistor,if anyone does not know. style="text-align: center;">The winding of the transformer needs to be wound up to us. High-voltage winding will be dear. We take the usual, not quite thin wire and wind it in 14-16 turns. We will make the retraction in the middle of the winding. Now we connect everything to our circuit. The last turn connects power. Be careful as you work with high voltage. Do not hold your hands to the transformer that is turned on.
High-voltage converter circuitWe'll collect everything on the breadboard without soldering. I'll just show you the work, and if you like it, you can transfer it to a more reliable board and solder all the elements.
