Fixing a Smashed Phone Screen - on a budget! (GLASS ONLY REPAIR ATTEMPT)
This is What Your Cell Phone Screen Says About You
Take a gander at the home screen on your cell phone, and think about what you see. A random array of apps, a basic background, a billion notifications? Each of these things, believe it or not, explains a ton about who you are and how you like to go about each day. Think about it: your phone is practically an extension of your brain—going even a few minutes without it can often prompt a mini (or major) freakout—and while it drives some people bonkers to see those little red notification bubbles, for others it's NBD. So match up your home screen to the examples below so you know just what others are thinking next time they take a sneak peek at what's going on in your techy world.
Your Apps Are Organized By Topic, And Your Background Screen is Personal
There's no doubt about it: You're a highly organized woman with a no-nonsense attitude, and if you had to choose, you'd rather do something yourself than delegate. People rely on you for your thoughts and ideas—and your go-getter attitude—to take them to the next level of success, so don't be afraid to loosen the reigns every now and then. Curiously enough, though, your apps aren't placed in boxes. Which makes you not quite as Type A as some would like to peg you—you have an independent streak that runs fierce, and you don't like to be held back when the creative juices start flowing. And while your friends and family mean a lot, alone time is at the top of your priority list. So it's more likely someone will find you poring over a book in the local coffee shop, or out for a solo run, than at happy hour for the bar that opened up downtown.
Your Apps Are All Set in Boxes
First and foremost, you value structure—which could stem from your parents own organization skills, or the exact opposite (you crave it because you never had it). You're also not a last-minute kind of girl, so once you set a plan, you rarely deviate. That, along with the fact that you're theperfect party planner, can make it tough for your husband to plan date night. If you can't help but drop him a few hints, fine, but otherwise take turns so he can show off his skills and let you feel taken care of—which just so happens to be another thing you crave. If we walked into your house, the first thing we'd notice is how everything has a place (as soon as Marie Kondo's book came out, you were in heaven). That said, it drives you bonkers when your husband puts your favorite vase in the wrong place and the kids toys are all over the floor. You don't buy into the latest fads, and instead rely on the things that have proven the test of time in fashion, work, and your social life. Sure, you have a Facebook account, but whenever someone asks what your Periscope display name is, this is your typical reaction:
Apps Are In No Particular Order, and Little Red Bubbles Are Everywhere
Organization is a word that is very, er, flexibleto you. Meaning that while others may think that your living room is a mess, you know exactly where everything is and can find it in a flash (and hey, that's all that matters). You're an extremely creative person, and like to bounce from one idea to the next—once the ball gets rolling, it's hard for you to stop and we feel bad for anyone who tries to get in your way. You're also a social butterfly—and based on that number of missed calls, are in high demand—so getting together for happy hour or dinner is more about bonding with your besties than actually eating or drinking. You don't like to stay in one place (there's an itch to move to a new house or apartment every few years) and travel is your jam. If you don't book a plane ticket and explore a new-to-you culture every few months, you start to go a little stir-crazy.
You Have Very Few Apps, And Your Background is Standard-Issue
Technology...sigh. You're just not that into it, and only have a phone so people don't think you've gone missing.
