The overall probability of death from diabetes in people with this disease is two times higher than the probability of death in people without it.
To prevent diabetes, it is necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle, as well as maintain optimal body weight and engage in physically active activities, paying at least half an hour a day to moderately intense exercise.In addition, you should eat three to five times a day vegetables and fruits, while avoiding excessive consumption of saturated fats and sugars.
